Gemma Cameron

Gemma Cameron first joined the team at Thoroughbred Breeders Australia and Aushorse in 2020 and manages the accounts for both organisations. Originally from the Macedon Ranges, Gemma grew up around horses and fondly remembers riding ponies throughout her childhood. Gemma graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Law and has worked with well renowned stud farms, where she combined her passion for horses with her expertise in accounting.

One of Gemma’s favourite racing memories is watching Michelle Payne winning the 2015 Melbourne Cup riding Prince of Penzance. Now based in Kyneton, Gemma also enjoys attending her local Hanging Rock Races, where the Hanging Rock Cup takes place in January of each year.

Gemma is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, has extensive experience and knowledge in accounting matters and has a strong passion for the Aushorse brand.
